February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/College Creek. Crown roadside reserves logged by Hancock. This is a practice that the company has been doing for years, without approval from LaTrobe City Council, who remain mute/apathetic/dysfunctional?

February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/Jeeralang Creek: Koala Hotspot located on Jeeralang West Road. This area just escaped the February 2009 bushfires that destroyed thousands of hecatres of koala habitat (and koalas). The western side of the fire front missed this location by less than 1km, making any remnant vegetation crucially important to the survival of the Strzelecki Koala.

February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/Jeeralang Creek: Koala scratch marks on site.

February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/Traralgon Creek (Taylors Road): 2 years after the fires good regeneration is occurring, but will this regeneration be targeted by Hancock as a means of plantation expansion?

February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/Traralgon Creek (Taylors Road): Healthy regeneration on Taylors Road. Will Hancock target these areas next?

February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/Traralgon Creek (Taylors Road): Old growth patches remain in the headwaters of Traralgon Creek.

February 2011: Strzelecki Ranges/Bennetts Creek. More burnt native forest gets the chop. Thousands of hectares of native forest was burnt during the fires. How much will be logged by Hancock and replanted with plantation trees?

ditto
