Strzelecki Ranges/Jack River: Oct 10 - Dubois Track. Almost 30 month old Regeneration inside rainforest reserve. This land is now retired from the excesses of the timber industry but regrowth is taking time to establish itself.

Haunted Hills Gippsland/Parish of Narracan. Oct 2010. Earlier than anticipated, Hancock clearfelling what is left of their bluegum plantations. Exceedingly poor growth rates in their bluegums have caused a hardwood shortfall for Hancock. Bluegums were anticipated to last until 2019, 2013 may be a better bet. Area marked in red is what has already been logged. Once the bluegums and Mt Ash are exhausted, Hancock will move in Shining Gum plantations, a large portion of which were destroyed in Feb 2009 bushfires.
